Author: sonsuray
Subject: Rules and Guidelines
Posted: Oct/03/2011 at 4:09pm

Hi to all who visit us here at Sonsuray's Boutique?

As this is a Boutique, and as such, there will be a large selection of categories to explore, join and share in.

The most important thing here will be "RESPECT" and a place to share, and grow by discussions, suggestions, and helping others! I want everyone who visits to make this a place they can visit often and feel free to ask about anything, this is how each person grows. We have all had to learn something at one time or another, and to do it we had to learn. Maybe there were times you wished you had someone to ask to help make it easier? Here we can all grow a bit more.

1." Respect" others, as you would have them respect you!! There will be no unkindness spoken to or about any one or anything they have to share!! This is for fun and a place for all people to share works, thoughts, and suggestions, bad words can not be taken back so don't let them out!! No exceptions!!

2." Respect" the fact that the Boutique is also for children!! Some will be posting here with crafts and some will be with parents or grandparents as they visit the forum and under no condition will there be allowed any type of vulgar language what so ever!! No exceptions!! Use the pm if you must. And under no circumstances will any one be allowed to use this forum in any way with sexual spamming!!! Actions will be taken and you will be reported to the proper authorities!! With the help of the legitimate members we will be able to control this. If anyone is abusing this forum in any way, please help to keep it a fun place to be by reporting any thing you find tasty to administration!!

3."Respect Chat Privileges": - The Boutique offers a live chat. This is a privilege for members. If in any way it is abused, the abuser will be permanently removed!! All rules and regulations of the forums will also be followed in chat! No exceptions to any rule of the forum will be omitted from the chat. Which means: no distasteful discussions, no unkindness of any kind to any member for any reason, no distasteful language, or using words of replacement for such, no discussions of politics, religious, sexual, or debating will be permitted. This is for getting to know members, or an easier way to help members with problem solving. Please use it as such.

4."Respect" Copyrights: - If you did not make it, do not post it as yours or resell anything that you do not have the rights to. If your not sure, please don't post it. I have been to sites where someone was reselling copies of things they had bought. That does not give you the right to resell it for a profit.

You are responsible for your actions, and Sonsuray's Boutique will not be responsible in any way for your postings. If you post anything that is not yours, you will be expected to undertake the responsibilities in which occur from them.

Copyright/Trademark Violations: You cannot sell sports or sport team logos, movie nor cartoon logos or any such items in any way, be it in a craft you made or by any one else. The laws and carriers of such things are very strict about this, so if you post it you better have the rights to do so, if not please do not post or you may have a legal action taken against you by the copyright holder. If you have sale items of such things please post the link to where you have an item for sale, but please do not post it in the forum. Thank you!!

5."Respect" what you put up for viewing: PLEASE remember the age groups open to this Boutique, no avatars that are disrespectful to children are allowed.

6.
Introduction Forum : Hello To All

    Author: sonsuray
Subject: Hello To All
Posted: Aug/12/2011 at 5:42pm

I'm Edie, Boutique Owner and Administrator

For any who wonder, "Sonsuray" is my oldest daughters middle name, It means, "Morning Star". It has been my trademark for over 12 years.

This has been a project I have had in my mind for years! A meeting for all Needlecrafts!! As such, this is a large forum, but I believe there is a very common joining between the Needlecrafts and would love to see them come together as one large community !! All forums are free to join and post in as long as you are a single person and not a large company. If you are a company, please post in the Business Section.

This is meant for all to come, share and learn all the Needleworks.
I have been doing needlecrafts for many years! I grew up in Niagara Falls, on the Tuscarora Indian Nation. There I learned to do needlework at around 9. My mother always gave gifts to us like embroidery, and little knitting and crochet toys. And from my father's aunt, and other family members we learned to do beadwork.

As time went on, and the family grew so did the needleworks, I have done many things, such as embroidery, beadwork, canves, latch hook, knitting (and I have 2 knitting machines, which makes that work so much easier!!), quilting, sewing, and the thing I have done the most of, Crochet.

Although I don't have pictues or patterns of all the works I have done, there has been hundereds, I began selling at bingo halls, graft shops, and the area Market House which is the oldest in the state still in operation for the people, by the people.

I have done many projects, which I haven't pictures of, its a hindsite of which I regrete not doing at the time. Projects for family, friends, and friends of friends, in all the needleworks catagories. I have always loved doing this as I was home with the children as they grew.

My favorite is the Tapestry Crochet, when I saw a pattern and thought it would be great to try it in crochet, it has been a favorite of mine since. My husband was facinated by it also and when he saw it, he actually wanted to try it. He has made 3 different Tapestry afghans. I
only have one of them that we have kept.

As I was making them and people saw them, they were gone before I had them finished, with orders for more. Now that I have more time, I will be able to futher my designs and afghans, and also do the craft forum with the different needlewoks.

If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to message me with them.

There is always room for growth, and this is new, so please feel free to give your comments.

As I find more of my past items I will add them. Please enjoy the forums. They are for you to enjoy, have fun and share with others.

Thank you !!

Edie
